The Burnham crew had a great holiday season. The cousins had so much fun playing together. Matt and Landon terrorized all of us with Landon's nerf dart guns--thanks, Pop and Mimi! Truett jumped right in with all the Sasser babies and held his own. Ry Ry and Matt played several rounds of ping pong in the garage and some of us even snuck away for a movie night. The food was great, the presents fun and the company the best part of all. Hope your family had a Merry Christmas as well!
Mimi and Ju Ju came over to Columbus to go to a Ladies Only Event at our church this Sunday. The Taste of the Holidays is an actual food tasting. All the ladies in the church submit recipes that go into a small flip-style cookbook. On the night of the tasting, we all make a double batch of our recipe to share and bring it on a platter to serve. Then we just sit back and get FULL on all the goodies. You get a cookbook with your ticket so as you are tasting, you can mark your favorites. I went last year all by myself and met some ladies who have turned out to be some of my best friends. It was so fun to share with Mom and Julie this year. KB, we missed you! We'll have to plan ahead for next year!!
Landon turns NINE today! The first grandson, Landon introduced us to all things BOY and he still keeps us on our toes! He is already an accomplished hunter, fisherman, artist and athlete. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we are watching him on the Outdoor Channel on his own hunting show some day. You never know what he and Pop will come out of the shop with and he loves playing with all his little cousins.
