Well, there is no photo for this post just yet ... we'll post one in a few weeks when we have our first sonogram!! YES!!! It's true! A little Berry is on the way!!! I am 8 weeks along as of today. So, please begin to pray for my body and the little life growing inside. Ryan and I are really excited and feel so blessed that the Lord has chosen us for this child. Our families are excited too. We had the opportunity to break the news on Wednesday to Ryan's family only about 30 min. after our nephew was born to Jennifer and Andy (Ryan's brother). He's precious and healthy! Ryan has a way with his family. So, he just slipped the news into conversation and caught everyone off guard! So fun! We went straight to Kosciusko for dinner with Mimi and Pop Burnham. The Sassers joined us and loved to hear the news. I think they were more excited that it's not them!
So, I promise to keep updates on here periodically as to how things are going! Again, please just be in prayer for the Berrys!
29 lovely years ago, Ryan Matthew Berry was brought into the world! Thanks to Mrs. Susan, I am so blessed to have the greatest husband ever. Ryan is such a blessing to me and everything I ever desired. It's hard to believe this is only the second birthday we've been together! Pretty wild, huh!? It seems like we've known each other forever!
For his birthday, I decided Ryan deserved a little bit of childhood. He would never admit it but he wanted a Wii terribly!! Being the practical people we are, I debated and debated and must say... it was a great decision! Thanks to his mom and dad for the help! They helped me out and found one in south MS! He's already bought a new game and the picture is a great explanation of how into his new gift he is!!! Happy Birthday, Babe! You deserve it! Now 30 won't seem so bad!
Martha and Robby married in January 1971 and the rest is history. After a long legacy of faithfulness and lots of prayers. I guess the Burnham girls turned out alright! We had to get used to boys in the family and now the Burnham house is definitely a full one when we're all at home. MiMi and Pop as they are better known these days are hardworking and are still at it. You can hardly catch them at home but they are enjoying the life of grandparents and not having any children under their constant care any longer! Thanks to Ryan, they finally got rid of us all! Now they are busy keeping up with grandkids at the ball park or at home in the pool or in the Jeep riding the pastures — every grandchild's favorite thing to do with Pop. Hopefully, the posts to come will only show you more and more of what this whole crew has been up to as soon as my sisters learn how to post something! Things have been a bit wild lately with Syd and Landon making all-stars and select teams in baseball and softball and much much more!
I'm not sure there is much to say about a newly wed couple and their dog. BUT we could probably talk about her for days. We won't bore you with her super cool tricks and how sweet she is! I know Kim Shirley would appreciate it! Ryan and I have been married for a year now. It's hard to believe but sometimes it seems like forever. We have been incredibly blessed with each other and this journey they call marriage. Blue was an early wedding gift to Ryan. She was a year old in February and loves to swim in MiMi and Pop's pond as well as hunt squirrels. She actually dug one up the other day on her morning walk. We moved to Grenada soon after we married ... a year in August. Ryan is one of five Assistant District Attorneys here and loves his job! I'm working with the family as well as doing freelance design work. We're loving our little 'elf cottage' as Landon likes to call it. I would agree with Julie that renting is fabulous these days!
